New Round of Studio Sessions Start Tonight!

Hello Everyone!

If you don't already know me, my name is Meagan Drake; gallery manager here at the Dover Art League. I will be filling in as host for Rob Sample for a little while. We will be starting the next round of Model Studio sessions tonight, 6-8 pm as usual. ($10 per session or $60 for all ten sessions) The wonderful Kimmy will be our model to start us off so you don't want to miss it, tell your artist friends and we'll see you tonight :)

Figure Studio is CANCELLED tonight.

Due to the weather and the fact that I am severely under the weather, I'm going to call off tonight's figure studio session.  We'll pick back up next week, and we'll add a an extra week at the end of everything to make up for tonight (for those of you that paid in advance).

Thursday, 3/6: Make-up session.

 Ok, big thanks to Joyce Lapp's daughter for agreeing to pose for us this evening.  Tonight, we will be a session focusing on portraiture - we'll work through a couple of poses from different angles. I know this is last minute, but hey, drawing is better than not drawing.

Snow Update.

Gah!  All of the models for this evening have been snowed in/out.  Unfortunately we will be cancelling tonight's meeting.  We will reschedule tonight's meeting at the end of our session - Thursday, March 6th.

Hey guys!  Hope everyone is staying warm in this frigid weather.  My plan is to go along with the Art League's schedule for tomorrow night's session.  If the League is open, we'll be there.

This blog will serve as an online meeting place for the Dover Art League's Figure Studio. There's not a lot up currently, but there is a calendar page up above with our scheduled sessions. Enjoy, and I hope we'll see you out on Thursday evenings from 6-8PM in the Holden Gallery.
